Hello, my name is Naomi de Valk. During my research master Cognitive Neuroscience I started my research internship in the Police-in-Action project. This project investigates the role of automatic freeze-fight-flight tendencies in the development of stress symptoms in Dutch police recruits. In this longitudinal study, we measure brain activation, behavior, psychophysiological indices and (epi)genetic and endocrine characteristics during various stress tests. After obtaining my master degree I continued working in the Police-in-Action project as a research assistant.
