My name is Madine Zoet, I am 22 years old. I am in my second year of the Behavioural Science Research Master, before starting the research master I studied Psychology at the Radboud University. Currently I am doing my internship at the Donders Institute, where I joined the EPAN group. I will conduct my research project within the Police-in-Action study under supervision of Floris Klumpers. With a new paradigm measuring costly avoidance behaviour in fearful situations we want to gain a more comprehensive view of the mechanisms underlying avoidance behaviour and its relation to trauma-related symptoms .
My research interests are the development and underlying processes of psychopathology. Moreover, I am interested in how this knowledge can be applied in interventions to improve emotional well-being.
