Laura Montoya Vera

My name is Laura Montoya Vera and I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Seville. From the beginning of my studies, I realized that getting to the root of people’s behavior and cognition is what intrigues me. This led me to the University of Ghent where I was an intern at the Cognitive Effort lab. Thereafter, motivated to pursue a career in neuroscience research, I moved to Nijmegen to study the Cognitive Neuroscience Research Master’s and to focus on perception, action and decision-making at Radboud University. Currently, I am doing my internship at the EPAN lab under the supervision of Dr. Bramson. The project will utilize the non-invasive neuromodulation technique transcranial ultrasound stimulation (TUS) to bias the approach-avoidance behavior.
